  6. It's been so exciting to catch up with you guys and see Miss Olivia smiling! You've made it through the first day and just a little bit more to get through the jet lag. She's doing so great!

  10. Oh Laura & John (and sweet beautiful Olivia!) - I am catching up tonight on your last few days in this journey to bring you together as the family God intended you to be! As I read that prayer, I cried too! I don't know how you've been so incredibly strong, Laura, but it is truly admirable. Seeing this latest batch of pictures with such a precious smile on Olivia's face is such a blessing! I hate that I couldn't be there to welcome you all home, but please know that I do continue to pray for each and every one of you (grandparents, aunts, uncles, and everyone included!) as I know just how much love you all have for Olivia and the strength, faith, and perseverance this journey and now this transition has taken for you all. John and his family were my extended family for such a good part of my life (at Olivia's age!), and Kate loved John SO much when she was smaller at church (I KNEW way back then he was going to make an amazing Dad one day! He was SO good with Kate!) and I've come to care very much about you too Laura, and I value your friendship. I am so very happy for you, and I am even more happy for Olivia who will know very soon what those of us here who love you both already know: She is one very lucky baby to have you both for her Mommy & Daddy. She was chosen by Him especially for you. He knew she was your daughter from the moment He created her. She is blessed. Welcome to Mommyhood! (and Daddyhood John!) It is one of life's most rewarding (and challenging) experiences, and I know you both will cherish every moment of it! Love you both! Kristin (Kate & Parker too!)
