Today we went for Olivia's 2 year check up and to get some of the lacking vaccinations. She had 4 shots. She was laying on the table looking around with me at her head and all of a sudden was had streaming tears. Oh poor thing....they hurt! She was a trooper and was ok by the time we got to our sticker and sucker. We went straight to Sonic and got her a new hot fudge sundae milkshake that she loved. After lunch, she got some tylenol and then went down for a nap. She really doesn't seem bothered by them. They said her legs would be sore and she wouldn't feel her best, but so far, so good!
Her checkup went well. She only weighs 21 lbs. and 4 oz. Poor thing doesn't register on the weight chart. She is 32 1/4 inches long. She is in the 10th percentile. Though her speech is slow in coming, Dr. Kastner felt that she was doing great considering she has only been home for 4 1/2 months and was so premature. So, overall a great checkup!!! We were very proud of our sweet little girl. We have to return in October for some more vaccinations and again in January. Hopefully that will be our only reason to have to go to the doctor, but my guess is we will have to return before October! :)
She is showing off her 4 boo boo's. They have tweety bird band-aids on them.
