Destin (Day 4)

The sun came out today!!! We got up this morning and went to eat at the Donut Hole and returned to put swimsuits on to head out to the beach. The sun came out and we enjoyed the bulk of the day on the beach. The water was very calm today and there were several sand bars.

The girls had a ton of fun playing in the sand.

We came in for Olivia to nap, and afterward, we all headed out to go on a seashell cruise. I found this and was a bit nervous as the things I come up with don't always pan out (ask John about any movie I have picked out within the last 10 years!), but this was perfect! We rode the boat out to a shallow bay where we found some gorgeous shells!

Everley got to help drive the boat!

(Please disregard the zero amount of makeup on me (ugh!)....just trying to prove that I am on the trip too. :))

As luck would have it, we also got to see about 10-15 dolphins playing in the water.

I know it is blurry, you gotta be fast with these guys!

I laughed because growing up, my family took many of these dolphin cruises, but never saw much. We went on a seashell cruise and saw an amazing amount of dolphins. They were jumping out of the water and swimming right under our boat! We came back, got baths and went to eat dinner at Fudpucker's again tonight. We had another great dinner and then the girls played out on the playground.

While I am blogging, Brandon, Ashley and Everley have headed out for a walk on the beach. We are about to head to bed to rest up for another day at the beach.
We have really enjoyed our time here. I love that our families travel so well together! The girls have been amazing, and as always, we love being with Brandon and Ashley. I am looking forward to many more trips together as our families continue to grow over the next few years. I hope our girls always stay friends. They are off to a great start!
Happy Birthday Brandon!!! We love you!
